Miami (oh, Miami!)
He claims it was something he got over the counter.

Never really specified exactly which counter, or what it was.  But a counter was definitely involved.

Judging by how few college athletes get suspended for PED use, I assume this is tantamount to failing an intelligence test. Is that right?

Yes, either in the sense of "doing it the only ways you can get caught" or the sense of "taking something without clearing it through the available resources for exactly that purpose" ... if he's sticking to the over-the-counter defense, then it'll be the latter. Hot/spiked supplements are definitely still a thing, unfortunately.

Grier is also charged a season, plus the one he used this year, so barring a successful appeal he’ll return as a JR.

He could redshirt again in 2016, play all of 2017 and 2018.
