Michigan looked fine early, so I don’t think it’s the dome. They just picked a bad night to have a cold spell, and compounded it with uncharacteristic turnovers (but that’s mostly Loyola playing stellar D).

If they get average shot luck and take better care of the ball in the 2nd half, Michigan will win this.

It's a combo of Loyola playing really good perimeter D and them not being comfortable shooting. Part of it is the dome. It's just a different shooting background than anyone experiences during the season outside of Syracuse. A 47% shooting team is shooting 29% and 2-for-13 from 3.

This is like the NCAA version of Groundhog Day. Will the Ramblers see their shadow and get scared, or will we have two more days of the nun?

Shooting in domes is always 50-50 on whether teams will shoot their regular percentages. Michigan looking like they can't handle the dome.
Is this true? What's the cause: sit drafts, changes in background and perception, something else? Is this also true when playing at Syracuse? Does Syracuse have an advantage when they play in domes at neutral doess?
