Terry needed that. He spent his whole run in the 2nd trying to get after Sexton and was mostly failing.
god I love Smart
How do you know about my neck tattoo?
I missed a few minutes, but in what I've seen, Tatum has done a good job finding the options that exist between fadeaway jumper and reckless drive.
all over the twitters bruh
Guys I don’t want to get too excited but Hayward is playing at a visibly different speed lately.
Just caught up on the DVR. Is Terry Rozier the best buzzer-beater shooter in the NBA?
he had a driving layup where he had some nice acceleration to the hoop
end of the quarter chuckers
I see it a bit, so not arguing, but a lot of the positive tonight seems to be from playing against a crap team that can't cover PnR. That's where his smarts/vision really shine.
Chaos, Agent Of.
I won't be able to get excited for Gordon until I see him take a layup and I don't think to myself "He would have dunked the shit out of that in Utah." When he starts dunking again with authority, he'll be back.
way too casual out there
Horford's channeling his inner Dikembe.
good time out
Yeah, Brad finally called one soon enough. Those first 3 minutes were an embarrassment.
Both teams sitting at 6 free throws so far. Tatum is the only Celtic who has been fouled while shooting, apparently, as he's 6/6.
Seems like an awfully physical game for so few free throws, on both ends.
the next time Rozier jogs back on D Brad should yank him
I love everything about Marcus Smart this year, with one exception.
I don't want to see him playing in the post with his back to the basket. I'm not sure I remember anything good ever coming out of that.
Good story in the Globe about Paul George talking about Hayward’s recovery.
Would be nice to have this guy instead of Yabu.
This is ugly basketball tonight.
That Sexton kid is really putting it upon us.
Fucking team full of butter fingers right now. Grab and catch the basketball.
Nobody can grab the ball.
lol Rozier drops a ball right in his hands
get Terry off the floor
Holy shit. What has gotten into Smart?
For fucks sake it’s malpractice not to be running the offense through Horford tonight.
That would require them to actually run an offense. This is just a mess.
Throwing a bad pass is like a steroid for Gordon
Terry Rozier is the least graceful point guard I've ever seen.
He recovered pretty well for the block.
And Marcus Smart is the best Celtic on the floor tonight. I will not hear otherwise.
Marcus is so feared from deep he just drew the entire defense.
Sexton averages 13.6fga per game. He's already at 19 to this point. Somebody must have told him to just go and go and go tonight and see what happens.
Theis sets a screen...first one set tonight
The indomitable GORDON HAYWARD!
Speaking of buttery, Gordon from midrange.
That ball did not touch Gordon going out of bounds before the break. If they change that call, I'm going to be pissed.
Scal talked about this earlier. Rozier straight up roasted him last game and Sexton seems motivated to avenge that. I love the kid playing like this as long as Boston prevails. He is fun to watch.
It was weird how well he recovered. Fastest he has looked all season.
I'm getting a bit excited for how he looks after the break.
Jaylen Brown: Knockdown Shooter
NBA refs want Tatum in New Orleans
Umm. Guys. Gordon Hayward is actually...good again!
(but yes, he looks a bit better physically)
Amazing that Theis didn't box out after just standing under the rim waiting. That's insta-bench material.
Dont care. That take there would be good against most NBA teams
