Big favorites on road. Let's do this. Start this sports weekend off right.
Should be an easy win for the Celtics. I expect Yabu and Semi to play career high in minutes tonight.
Nix the Knicks
Kyrie now listed as available, wonder if Brad will still play him.
Why wouldn't he?
They may not need him against the hapless Knicks, more playing time for the bench, tamper down all the frothing over trades/notrades?
You think NOT playing him after he's been deemed healthy will tamper down the frothing?
I dunno man, whatever ... jeez, does everything have to b e confrontational with you?
Ask him on July 1.
Could happen but I doubt it. (Ojeleye played 32 minutes against Utah last year in the Jaylen Brown game; Yabusele played 28 minutes against Broolyn in Game 82 against Brooklyn, in which Nadel played *38* minutes.)
Man, I’m just asking why you think that will help. I honestly wasn’t being confrontational.
I just listened to Michael Wilbon claim that KI and KD will be Knicks next year.
Ok, start Kyrie. He’ll either suck or have a career night. I suspect either will be obvious early.
this feels like a reverse lock game for the Knicks. let's see.
do Knick fans come up with some sort of clever chant for Kyrie tonight?
Yes, but I’m not sure if “Potvin sucks!” is going to prove all that persuasive to Kyrie.
Is this the most highly anticipated January regular season game, in which the road team is favored by 14 points? LOL
Yeah, trade season is awesome. I'm just here to enjoy the ride.
I wouldn't support China's social score or anything like that, but I bet having a caffeine meter next to each avatar that updated all day would be useful as fuck.
Kyrie got a big cheer during his intro, mostly kept his head down in reaction.
If that was the cheer to drive him to NYC, we’re good.
oh goody, we can have Paul, Jalen and Chauncey dissect that at halftime
Who do we blame for this level of looking past the current season for big player movements?
I sorta blame the NFL. Does that work for everyone? Fuck the NFL?
Kyrie getting booed when he touches it.
Lazy shot selection here
So ESPN just showed a clip of Kyrie being introduced to what could most generously described as a mild reaction even with the microphone turned up and played it up like Knicks fans went nuts.
I'm on this train.
"Something to monitor as the game progresses..."
I am at MSG. I wish Kyrie were sitting. This is torture listening to him getting cheers every time he touches the ball.
Not good enough coverage.
Do you think you could get on one of the benches and report back from there?
Man, people would be calling the doctors on me when they saw that mine was pinned in the red all day, every day. I just started my newest 32 ounce iced coffee of the day 10 minutes ago. Think that's #4, or maybe #5....
Team looks lifeless. Obviously 11 is a distraction.
Hello? Team? Wake up?
I figured that out about you years ago. It brought so much into focus.
the missed Horford layup screwed up this opening 3 minutes
Get Jaylen in
Has Al missed a jumper in the last two weeks?
They went nuts.
Tatum-Al 2 man game looks nice. Getting it ready to replace Kyrie-Al next year
True. I guess "set shot" is probably the better term.
Clearly should’ve given the max for IT after seeing Kyrie miss that shot.
JT going Young Mamba tonight, ugh
IT will be available next year...
Then espn had some shitty audio.
I feel like Kyrie is making his play to get Tatum out of Boston.
Which sucks, because Tatum is going to end up being better than Kyrie.
You know what's a nice selling point? Playing in the playoffs in Boston.
Everything must be middle of the road moderate so we believe that no favorites are ever played.
I'd rather listen to a local broadcast talk shit about my team than the faux even-handed crap they call journalism.
That's the Tatum I want to see, take it to the rim.
What's Scal talking about, getting Morris into the 3 point contest at the ASG? He said Morris needs a nice showing tonight to get in? Is there some kind of statistical requirement to get in now?
