I'd like to think I could go to bed now, but with these offenses, probably not.

My wife just noted, "The Browns could use a guy like Jones instead of Manziel."

I agree. 3 college starts and it's time to jettison Johnny Douchebag.

If Oregon scores a TD, I hope they're smart enough to onside kick it
Worst case scenario, they save time for their offense to try to score again.

Also, for those that don't know, former Rams (and other teams) QB Gus Frerotte was Ezekiel Elliott's high school coach.

Jones would get destroyed in the NFL. All these runs where he's faster and stronger than an average athlete on the Oregon D, he'd be lit up by an NFL lineman or linebacker.

Aside from the turnovers, this has been one of the greatest offensive game plans I've ever seen.  I don't care how bad Oregon has looked, this is almost unstoppable unless OSU stops themselves, which fortunately for Oregon, they have done 4 times tonight.

That counter play is really a quadruple option.  They can hand it off to the receiver running in motion on a jet sweep, run a counter to either side with Elliott, have Jones hang onto the ball and run it himself or hang onto it, step back and throw a pass.  It's almost impossible to defend when executed properly, and they couldn't be executing it any better.  Then, when Oregon loads up on that look, by putting a three man rush, and leaving 4-5 linebackers to try and avoid the blocks, OSU passes with no pressure and Jones is doing an awesome job of waiting for his guys to come open.  I'm telling you, I don't think any defense in the country could stop this attack right now.

I was invited to a game-watching party tonight, but there's really nothing sadder and more pathetic than drunk Oregon fans sobbing into their $65 Nike Duck towels

It was a joke. Clearly Jones isn't NFL ready. It was a mock on Manziel.

To be fair to Oregon, that defense has been out there a lot. OSU is flipping the tables on Oregon.

What was that talk about late hits? Cause that was late.

Ehh, I thought it might have been late at full speed, but I'm not so sure.  He was in the act of making the sack when Mariota released it.  No way to stop his momentum at that point.  I thought it was a good no call after seeing the replay.

What do you make of the follow through with driving him into the ground? That 100% looked like a penalty to me.
