EURO 2016 Semi-Finals Game Thread

There's been compelling performances by one team - Holland 88, Denmark 92, France 98, Spain 2012 - but real nail biting games?
Maybe three. World Cup 86, Euro 2000, and World Cup 2006.
Why not play both semifinals on the same day? Seems odd to have one of the finalists play on 2 days rest when no one does that during the rest of the tournament.
Actually that wasn't a bad game. I stupidly booked my flight back to SF during the game, so I always forget about it because I didn't watch the full game until a day or two later. I watched Götze's goal in baggage claim on my phone.

Now they bring on Martial. They deserve to lose. Once CR7 went out they stopped pushing and played too casual.
Coman sub seems like it was a big mistake he created one chance early, but he didn't defend at all, and his possession skill is lacking. Also cost them their only reliable set piece taker.
The most Ewing Theory goal of all time would have been if the free kick had gone in.
France weren't that fucking great, and beat the best team there who beat the second best team there.
CR7's abs look a little outta shape too...
Im a Juve fan and love Pogba but he really didn't add that much. For someone considered a top MF in the world (what he was 6th in Ballon d'Or?) he needed to provide more.
edit: not sure where I got 6th in Ballon, cant find the link. But he was FIFA XI in 2015 (along with Modric and Iniesta, tho Vidal should be up there).

Soccer is one of those games where upsets happen because it's really hard to score goals. This bullshit about the "wrong" team winning pisses me off. Play the games on paper if you're offended by upsets or defensive football and leave the watching of games to the rest of us.
