Just a terrible play by Moore. He was back guarding the guy out of the box and got caught staring into the offensive zone and flat-footed.

Ouch, that looked painful.

Rangers may want to put a man on Simmonds to harass him a bit. Or not. Their choice.

Is there a bigger dream scenario for the league than Montreal-Boston and Pittsburgh-Philadelphia?

Dorsett obviously propels himself into Mason after he's checked.

It boggles the mind that someone who's spent so long around the game of hockey knows as little as Eddie Olczyk

King Henrik 0-11 in games where his team is leading a playoff series. 3.32 GAA and .877 SV%. Soon to be worse. #NoBueno

Lundqvist certainly won games while his team is leading a playoff series. Surprisingly, Lundqvist and the Rangers didn't lead any series until game 7 in their conference finals run. That being said, he's definitely won multiple games while up in a series.

Edit: By my count, Hank is 8-14 when leading. He's 3-1 in game 7s, losing his first to Fedorov and the Caps but winning the three since.

Theoretically he could have only won the series in 7 games without ever leading the series.

However that's not true. They swept the Thrashers many years ago, so there's 3 wins right there.

What? This doesn't make any sense. That's simply impossible for it to be true.

Lundqvist has been to the conference finals and otherwise won series. He's certainly won games while his team is leading a playoff series.

It's 0 for his last 11 (now 12) - sorry, I should have vetted it

Sorry, I worded that poorly and tried to edit before it was read. I knew it was impossible because Lundqvist has had a sweep and otherwise won such games.

I imagine they'd prefer NY because of the NY market compared to Philly but that's really just splitting hairs IMO.  The entire East has basically worked out as well as they could have hoped from a ratings perspective.

Game 7 and I'm going to be fucking useless today.

I'd like to enjoy the Avs and Kings games, the only way that's happening is if the Flyers get it done tonight.

Three NHL game 7's on one rainy, cold Wednesday night. This is more or less what I live for. Bring it on.

I had forgotten how enjoyable Game 7's are when the Bruins aren't involved.  180+ minutes of Game 7 playoff hockey in one night is just... the best.

I love that you included the plus after 180. You just know at least one of these games is going to OT.

Flyers-Penguins would lead to a fun second round. I really want it. The Rangers have made this series very hard to get into for me, even though they have Hagelin.

So I was watching on NBCSN and then they cut the programming. So they showed the first period and then stopped. Very weird.

Feel like Mason has been fantastic through the first 26 minutes. The Flyers can't be too disappointed with their current predicament, especially after a solid road period in the first.
