That was a foot in front of the ref. Should have been 4 against the Rangers.

The first goal was terrible, too, and the 5th wasn't much better. Henrik rarely plays worse.

The last four times he has given up 5+ goals have all been against TB, two this series and twice early in the regular season.

I'm going back and forth on who to root for in this series.  I have no strong opinions; just because the Rangers are in our division doesn't mean I automatically hate them once we're out, or would hate it if they won the cup or something.  They're not Montreal.  I've seen very little thuggery, though admittedly I've missed parts of a few games.  The teams look very well-matched, so I have no obvious underdog.  Who are you guys rooting for here and why?

I watched a lot of them this year (after grabbing Kucherov for a couple of fantasy teams during his first multi goal game.)

They are explosively fun with their play making ability. The triplets are amazing, but if a team keys on them, then Stamkos will kill you. Bishop is solid in net. Hedman is a top 5 dman in the league. Coburn a brilliant deadline pickup. Coach Cooper is wicked smart.

But the first period shows NY is learning how to neutralize them.

A lot of bouncing pucks this period. I wonder what the ice condition is?

This is mostly anecdotal, but it seems to me the PIM in NY the last 3 years have been hugely unbalanced.

Tampa and I second what Monbo Jumbo said, they are an explosive team that is fun to watch, so I'm pulling for them.

No Game 5 bullshit this time - you're not facing the Caps.

Close this shit out on Tuesday. Don't give them a chance.

Pre-game predictably all about the Rangers. Pathetic.

EDIT: I mean they don't even play tonight and it was 10 minutes of how you can't count the Rangers out. I give up.

Which will end in OT of Game 7 on a puck that bounces into the Tampa net off seven skates, four ruts in the ice, both linesmen and a stray bird.

McDonough cheap shotted with a hit from behind by Stamkos. Tampa ends up on the power play. Brutal.
Don't sweat it, the rags are about 10 shots away from ending up with 5-6 goals. Tampa will need 50 shots to get 4.

At which point, I'll rip my TV off the wall, smash it over the sofa, fire it through the front window, run outside, pick it up and dropkick it into my trash barrel.

Kucherov actually lucky that penalty was called - Nash was in alone on a partial break if they didn't call him

Especially because the Rangers PP is good for killing the team's momentum. That was an abysmal two minutes of power play time. Why AV keeps putting St. Louis on the PP when he's so awful is beyond me.
