Really? Thats your new panelist? I DVR it yesterday & havent watched the whole show, but jesus he is just such a negative, dour twit...no wonder none of the players like him. Did he EVER even play baseball? Whats your job CHB, just to be negative & try muck rake?

I actually think he's good when he's on Beetle and Zo weekly. He doesn't come off negative for the most part and was actually really fair to Price recently when talking about the story. He's worked a craft of stirring up shit and it's worked well. I hated him and his articles for years but he is now in the Hall so adding him to a panel isn't something strange. I personally won't watch but I don't find it odd.

CHB has gone on the show before when Felger/Dickerson/Neumie hosted it in previous iterations. It was only this year that it became the Drallich/Carrabis show...

CHB is a billion times better on radio than in print. He stays away from HOT TAKEZ for the most part. It's pretty strange, really.

It has nothing to do with the Hall of Fame except it's given at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony and its recipient is immortalized in the Hall of Fame's media exhibit? OK, Bruce.

CHB will always be CHB, but the man won an award that confers a certain immortality (since that exhibit exists and is visited by a lot of people) and some power too, since he can sit on Veteran's Committees that might do important stuff like, for example, put Luis Tiant in the Hall.

Who votes players into the hall of fame? It's not like the BBWAA has any sway in that process of integrity, right?

I don't mind CHB in this format as much as print. Honestly, i hated the baseball show this year since they replaced McAdams with young kids from Barstool and the like.
