So when, exactly, is the much-predicted dismantling of LCFC's champion squad supposed to start? There has been a lot of noise and wishcasting for Leicester's big 3, but (A) no confirmed moves yet, and (B) Ranieri surely has a huge budget to improve the squad in advance of a UCL season.

Is it possible they got together and decided to stick it out for one more year together to see how far they can go in Europe? Or would that be too romantic, even for the most romantic of footballing stories?

Can't they do a delayed transfer up to a year in advance? So Vardy, Kante and Mahrez would get financial security plus one last season with Leicester.

Technically, they could, but no team does that with already established players. That's usually done with youngsters who are allowed to develop at their current club rather than sitting in the reserves of the parent club. Essentially a loan back system. That's not going to happen with the Leicester guys if they leave. I think that Kante moving is going to be the one that drives the others to leave. He has interest from some huge clubs with the money to make a deal happen. Like PSG flashing their AmEx Imperial Black Death Card.

I'd expect a ton of movement to start after the group stages conclude at the Euros and Copa. And once the tournaments end, it'll go from rumors to signings.

If Kante doesn't end up in Paris with PSG, I'll be shocked.

No, but with Ibra moving on, I would think PSG would be more keen to bring in a bona fide ace striker than another box to box MF. Cavani is not going to cut it for PSG and Di Maria is most effective from the wing.

Ranieri is out.

What a ride. From one of the biggest miracle's in sport history, to complete garbage in a matter of month.

How important was Kante to this team?

I can't believe they fired him before the second leg v. Sevilla.

Kanté was no doubt the straw that stirred the drink, but Huth/Morgan collectively aged a decade from how much they were driven into the ground last year.
