Buckeyes up 69-67, and the Huskers just dead-ball fouled to get them back to the line with 5.1 sec left, shooting 2.

EDIT - Delle Valle hits the first...

EDIT - And the second one ices it. Huskers blow an 18-point lead.

Yeah, considering Pitt hasn't beaten anyone better than Stanford yet this season, this would be a bad loss for the Heels.

But the Panthers are doing their best to blow it, with a 20-pt lead down to 6 -- and now there's another Pitt turnover, their 7th in the last 6+ minutes.

It's down to a 4-pt lead for Pitt, 59.7 secs left. Jesus, they're in full-on meltdown mode. And they hit only 1 of 2 FTs.

EDIT - A Heels turnover leads to a foul and more shots for Pitt coming. 48.5 left.

EDIT - Pitt makes 1 of 2, Heels answer with a lay-up. UNC down 4 with 39 secs left.

EDIT - No idea WTF happened on that UNC layup attempt. A clear lane, and he does some weird plant-and-fall-away thing as the shot is short.

EDIT - A three brings UNC to within 78-75, 11.4 sec left.

EDIT - McAdoo's three clangs away and Pitt will hang on, up 5 with 4.0 left and FTs coming.

So uh can everyone cheer on SFA in 40 minutes please? kthnx

Just got back in, and I'm definitely cheering. Hope it's in time, because NWS just tied it up 65-65 with 8:27 left, after SFA led by 10 at halftime.

Holy shit, that dunk by Harrell for Louisville was massive. He went full-on sky-puppy, took an alley-oop while running in full stride, grabbed it with one hand, and tomahawked it down.

Cards up 47-32 at the half over Houston.

NWS just went up 72-70, 4:52 left.

Stephen F. Austin now up 77-76 with just under 3:00 to play. Jacob Parker, Thomas Walkup & Tanner Clayton are all playing with 4 fouls.

EDIT - Sloppy play all around, as both teams combine for 5 turnovers in the past 40 seconds. SFA leads 81-78 with :53 left, and they have the ball.

EDIT - Desmond Hayman gets fouled with :18 left, and he hits both shots to give him 27 on the night. Lumberjacks by 5.

EDIT - Brison White misses a three for NWS, rebound to SFA with :08 left. Another foul, 2 more FTs (by Parker), White misses another three at the buzzer, and it's over. SFA advances 85-78.

Shaping up to be a pretty good night for Providence, assuming they hold on, with other bubble teams like Minnesota and FSU losing

Awesome win by Iowa State. We'll be back with another episode of "Who wants to be a number one seed? after these messages.

Interesting to see NC States tournament resume , as I never really considered them to be in the mix - 21-12, 59 RPI, 41 SOS, 3-8 vs top 50, 6-9 vs top 100, ken Pom 72. RPI and KenPom numbers don't reflect tonight's win. They will need to knock off Duke tomorrow to really put themselves into contention, but when you look at their schedule there are so many missed opportunities : 1 point loss at Cuse , 1 point - OT loss vs UNC, 4 point loss to Mizzou.

For Cuse , this probably cements them as a 3 seed.

* It went to OT, but the Broncos held on for the 64-60 win over the Zips. They'll face the winner of Toledo & Eastern Michigan for the MAC cown.

* Friars up 78-74 with 9 secs left, but Cotton just got called for a push-off as the Friars tried to inbound. SHU ball.

The dipsy-doo layup by Seton Hall is short. Friars rebound, and Fortune nails both FTs at the other end. This one's over.

Providence advances, and they're now comfortably off the bubble.

SU is either going to be eliminated in the first round or make a Final Four run.  I don't know if I see anything in-between.

In the Sun Belt, #5 Arkansas-Little Rock & #4 Arkansas State are having a Hatfields-McCoys intrastate shootout tonight, tied at 105-105.

They just tipped off in the FOURTH OVERTIME.

Melvin Johnson III hits a layup, gets fouled, and sinks the free throw with :06 left. And with that, Arkansas State prevails, 116-114. Four UALR players fouled out, two for the Red Wolves. Ark St will play top seed Georgia St in a semifinal tomorrow night.

Colorado hanging tough with Arizona, trailing just 27-24 at halftime.

So much for that. The Wildcats are winning the 2nd half, 26-10. The Buffs are shooting 29% from the floor tonight. Would love to see a 2nd-half split, it's got to be ugly as sin. Zona dominating the boards, 38-24.

In a minor upset, (3)Sam Houston beat (2)A&M Corpus Christi 69-62 to advance to the Southland final. They face 30-2 SFA at 8:30 pm eastern, game will be on ESPN2. Second consecutive major rivalry game for SFA, these two schools hate one another.

Ax 'em!

Of course there's no call. There will NEVER be a call against Duke in a critical moment that jeopardizes one of their victories.

Sanders nails a three after a flustered possession. Cinci down 1 with 12 secs left, and UConn has to call a time out after trouble inbounding.

Meanwhile, Baylor's killing Texas. Raise your hand if you had the Bears & Iowa State in the Big 12 title game.

If these conference tournaments are any indication this is going to be a crazy tournament , the difference between the top teams and the middle tier teams just isn't that great.

Holy shit, I thought that shot by Kilpatrick was in. It just hung on the rim like once of those slow-motion sequences in a dramatic sports movie.
