Still wrapping my head around this loss - gutted for Karius, but I really have no idea how he comes back from not 1, but 2 collosall blunders.

Ramos is a world class douche as a player. He hooked the arm and hung on basically hip tossing Salah WWE style. Dirty play, can't say there was intent, but absolutely a dirty play by a dirty player.

It's too bad as it was a lively match until Salah went out - with zero depth, the outcome was predetermined from that moment on.

That said, if you told me LFC would be in Kiev at the start of the season, I would have laughed long and loud in your face, but, as a fan, been pretty psyched for it.....

I mean, that's really it for LFC, isn't it? I know people are already bracing for the big boys to put in their bids to unsettle Salah, but at some point, Liverpool have to not only make big signings, but find ways to keep their good players on board for more than a couple of years.

Karius will probably need to move on, both for his and the club's sake. As much as he made strides this year, it'll only be human nature for his outfield players to think back to Kyiv and worry that any shot toward goal could go in. And he probably needs to be somewhere else to keep his career moving. It's unfortunate, but the sport can be cruel.
