The league made adjustments to him, and he made some of his own. He wasn't sneaking past people with those extendo arms as easily anymore, so now he's taking it at them and finishing through contact. He's starting to make year two adjustments before year one is over. I can't even fathom what a pro offseason program is going to do for this guy.

Without question. And his own injury slowed him down as well. But in a more controlled environment, they would have taken it slower.

His three point attempts dropped to 2.1/game in Feb as he adjusted to his injury. He's back up to 4.0/game, which is significantly more than any previous month.

FWIW, his assists are up more than 40% over his previous best month.

Seriously, thank for posting that--that's awesome confirmation of the eye test and, well, it's fun finding out these guys really are turning into who we'd hoped they could be.

I’m enjoying the double implication here—that there isn’t a Ewing Effect in play with Kyrie (I mean, they very clearly miss him), and that the young guys have shown significant growth in his absence. I think people aren’t really going to understand how good this team will be at full health until they see it. The starting 5 is going to be non-defendable.
