Bruins are 31-9-5 v. Toronto since 06-07, and 10 of the last 11.  Control JvR and take advantage of their PK (pun intended) to continue the winning.

And two of their Opening Night defensemen are still out. So there's that too.

Whatever. Time for the Laffs to experience some Typical Chad.

So what are they doing for lines?

Fraser's a Left Wing
Spooner's the C
Caron's a Right Wing

Lucic-Krecji-Iginla
Marchand-Bergeron-(Caron)
Soderberg-(Spooner)-Smith
Paille-Campbell-(Fraser)

My guess:

Lucic - Krejci - Iginla
Marchand - Bergeron - Smith
Soderberg - Spooner - Fraser
Paille - Campbell - Caron

Yeah I can see that one or switching Caron and Fraser but I don't think that really matters goo much. Smith has definitely earned his stripes for a second line promotion.

Have Spooner and Fraser been on a line together in Providence?
Yep. Spooner has 5Gs and 19As while Fraser has like 16 goals and a few assists. Spooner has been setting him up all season so it wouldn't surprise me to see them together but I still suspect Smith is up on the Bergeron line with Caron, Soderberg and Spooner on the 3rd line.

Both teams played last night. Toronto went to a SO with Ottawa. Toronto is one of the worst Corsi teams in the NHL. They've allowed their last two opponents to get 40+ shots against them. I expect the Bruins to pummel Bernier (Reimer started last night) tonight.

And don't wait til the last minute to score all the goals.

Are Orr & McLaren in the lineup for Toronto? I would've liked them to call up Robins too just to have someone who you want to go with those guys.

And this is the downside to not having a goon. Clarkson can do whatever the fuck he wants. If he ends up in a fight, he's dragging off a better player than he is.

This Leafs team is so bad defensively, the Bruins are making mistakes because they aren't looking at players that normally shouldn't be open.

Looked like his knee/leg.

How many times are the Leafs going to stop or turn in their own zone into traffic without it biting them on the ass.

Here
Smith is going to be a good, and possibly very good, player in this league.

Phaneuf is so fucking bad. It's going to be awesome when the Leafs hand him $7 million per year. Most overrated player in the league.
