"Brave Steve Ott"
Ference-Avery "He wants to rip him limb from limb"

edit: That was also one of Edwards' best games.

These games are always fun.  I'm probably putting in 16 hours of work in the next 24, so this and a nap will probably be my only break.

Also, these games tend to light a spark under the Bruins.  Lets hope one gets lit.

Jack makes a good point. Why can't you kick in a goal?

If it takes longer than a minute by definition it isn't clear and obvious. Drop the puck.

(Even though I do think he kicked it.)

It went off his stick first too. That'd be the best hand-foot coordination I've seen if it was an actual kicking motion.

There is no way in hell that was a distinct kicking motion
They need to rip the "distinct kicking motion" part of the rule right out of the rule book. Either allow pucks to be kicked in or waive off anything that goes off a foot. Zero consistency with that rule.

I always thought that it didn't matter if you kicked it if it goes in off the goalie. It redirected off Lehtonen's foot.

Marchand had the five hole open there and shot it back too much to the far side.

There's a dude behind the Bruins goal with a sign that says "bang" and it seems like the only reason he's there is to bang the glass

There would be murder in my heart if I was sitting near him.

is the hand-passer or hand-passer-to that matters?  Can you hand pass it form the neutral zone back into your own defensive zone to a teammate?

Not sure how that isn't the same 2 and 1 from the first period. Some interesting calls this evening.
