Here is what Claude said in the team's in house piece after last night's loss:

Well, it’s the same old, same old I guess,” Bruins Head Coach Claude Julien said as he started his press conference following the loss. “You know, we’re off to a good start again and you’ve got a 2-0 lead and instead of continuing to play your game, you start seeing some long passes that end up in icings, you saw some turnovers at the blueline.”

“So we’re being a little stubborn right now, not respecting our game plan for the whole game.”

This does seem to be a bit of an issue. But isn't that squarely on Julien? What gives?

Why would that be on Julian? He's saying the players aren't sticking to the game plan (which can happen at every level of the game).

Yet, he also continues to ice the worst offenders (K Miller and McQuaid) wayyyyyy more than they should be seeing. Half of those ridiculous icings last night were McQuaid's. I get he's not going anywhere with his new contract but Miller has been dogcrap as well and is too like McQuaid, he should be taking a seat.

Agreed, K Miller needs to sit. He is a defensive defenseman who has been terrible on defense this year. Play Morrow or Trotman.
