FRESHMAN (2012): Played at Western Nevada College...posted a 0-0 record with a 4.05 ERA in 13 appearances...recorded 14 strikeouts, while issuing eight walks in 13.1 innings of work...helped lead the team to a 48-17 overall record.

Struggled a bit late although his threw almost as many innings this year than he did in 2 years in college (49).  He seems to be being stretched out a bit this year as he threw 3 or more innings in 12 of his appearances and 2 or more in 15 of 16 appearances.  Not a big strikeout pitcher (soxprospects has him at 86-89 MPH).  He will be interesting to follow next year to see what role he is used in.
