I did mention yesterday in the The Two Bills thread that it was absurd Belichick has won only three and none since 2010. Since then, both Ron Rivera and Bruce Arians have each won twice. And Jason Garrett has even won one.

Without looking at specific cases my theory would be that MVP’s are already established guys who take up large chunks of cap space thus creating a top heavy roster. Add in normal injury attrition and you’d have a team with holes that are exploitable by one of the best teams they’d play all season.
