Boston (well...Cambridge) meet-up 5/28

Next Saturday at noon is the biggest club football game of the year: the Championship Playoff final as Sheffield Wednesday and Hull City meet to determine who gets their hands on the Premier League's monies.

I'm debating between heading to NYC to join the NYC Owls group and heading up to Boston (a much easier logistical battle) to go to The Field. Any interest in getting folks together to watch the game in Cambridge? I think there may be another game on after it as well, although not as meaningful or English.

NY is too tough for me to pull off logistically given the fact that I am a drunk. If you wanted to watch the game in a great atmosphere, the Wednesday bar is the Football Factory on 33rd. Place should be rocking, they got ~30 folks together for each of the playoff games. Couple are going to London, but more are replacing them. I'm bummed I can't get out there for that.

Too bad this isn't the following weekend, all of us out-of-town alcoholics that come in for the bash could join in.

Can't make it, but I'd be down for a meet up in the Boston/Cambridge area some other time.
