In short, Cogent Communications, a backbone provider of the Internet has begun blackballing specific IP addresses to The Pirate Bay and an unknown number of other torrent sites. Not the end of the world for those who know actual IP addresses and for example, in this case, can route to Cloudflare via something other than Cogent. This gets really interesting if there appears serious financial compensation to play games like this...
