Why wouldn't the Broncos make a run at Cousins and bank the picks? Can they make enough cap room?

denver next season has only 23 mil in cap space unlees we re-do tailb and thomas deals and cut CJ i dont see enrough room tailb does need a re-do on his deal i think its up after 2018 tailb if he was on the open market wouild command 16 mil a year

call me crazy but if the jets get a good qb josh mccown couild be a good 2 y stopgap for denver

A 39-40 year old Mccown? I know he’s having a decent season but if that’s a good option, that’s not a good sign for the next 2 seasons in Denver.
