cshea started 17 game threads in a row.  My lifetime record on game threads is a robust 0-1-1.  Why am I starting this gamethread?  WE NEED AN EXPLANATION!

Toronto is 1 point behind Columbus, but Columbus has 2 games in hand.  Beating Toronto would crush their playoff hopes, and would feel great.  Although not as much as this:

Bernier in goal for Toronto, Johnson for the B's.

I'd hate to see a video of me watching Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS. Then again, I wouldn't be stupid enough to stream it on the internet in the first place...

That is absolutely an RMPS record. Damn.
I'd also like to add that his streak started on March 2nd, and lasted until April 2nd.  An entire month.

The chick and the guy on the couch changed seats between 4-2 and 4-3. Never would have happened in my house.

The guys who sit behind us were close to leaving and we (and the guys next to them) kind of shamed them a little bit into staying. That was fun.

If we're cycling guys in and out of the lineup for rest it's only fair that cshea gets some rest too.

Those are fans? They didn't even stand up or be belligerent in any way, didn't break anything. Just a couple of profane epithets.

What have they done to make this up to you? I hope they are still buying you regular beers.

My morning at work felt a little empty without having to start a game thread, but it was one heck of a run. Time to turn things over to our canoeing friend to take us to the end of the year.

So Iginla is back in, Soderberg is out.

The Leafs are making really bad blind clears, and the B's have taken advantage of that 2-3 times already getting quick entry and open shots.  The Leafs don't seem to be too motivated, and they should be.

Every single Leaf defensemen takes a dump on the ice when they have the puck and get pressured by the forecheck. It's great.

Interesting call. I do so enjoy watching the refs. Too bad the players sometimes get in the way.

Fuck guys, don't give in to their shenanigans.  Nothing good can come out of it and we don't need anybody getting hurt.

I have no idea how that was a penalty on Kevan Miller. A textbook defensive play.
The only thing I can think of is he was wearing a Bruins sweater. I hope the officials clean it up in the playoffs

Are you kidding me with the call on Miller? Guys legs were all splayed out trying to make a move and Miller kept his path straight.  The song remains the same.
