I saw the Mets at Fenway when they beat the Sox in 10, 1-0 on a balk by Tim Wakefield
Well, the good news is they don't really let Syndergaard go more than 115 pitches in a start, so we're on pace to get him out of the game after a couple of outs in the 12th inning.
MFY´s have jumped ahead 2-0; my chicken little inside doesn´t seem to like that the lead is only 10.5. LOL
Lyons is awful. Gomes, like, isn’t good at talking.
WC is SUMPD
Cuevas doing work.
Cuevas looks dominant.
If the Yankees catch the Sox many of us won't want to see the team in the playoffs even if they snag the wildcard.
But the Yankees are playing to fend off the As vs catching Boston.
Genius Cora taught him how to pitch between innings.
The Mets suck at hitting, but that was a really good inning for Cuevas.
Well,that was impressive.
At the game tonight, first one since my 4 month old was born.
Do they sell good beers anymore in the park?
The MFY are a very dangerous team in the toilet. Of course, they need to play a lot better than they have been or they will be facing the A's in Oakland.
I’m not looking for a bourbon county or anything, just something more interesting than a Sam 76. Do they not bother anymore?
But what about all the pinch taters?
Aren't you forgetting something re: Cuevas?
Could someone try taking a couple of pitches before making a weak out?
WC is SUMPD!
If he's going to do that tonight, doesn't he need to change out of his awful suit ?
What a horrendous strike call
What is that skeleton toy in the Sox dugout?
That I know, but I'm not completeley convinced the A's (even minus Mananea) will be weaker than the MFY's. The Yankees have a dubious rotation, bad defense and hitters between .180 (the great Gary Sanchez) and .270.
Devers swing at strikes only.
If I were a scout and wanted to know whether or not a pitcher was good with pre-game preparation, I'd look to see how he did against Devers.
No pitcher who prepares should fail to get him out.
Didn't the manager bribe him with gift cards to walk and hit it the other way?
Yes, it didn't work.
His recognition of pitches leaves a lot to be desired, He has a lot to learn and hopefully he can or else we are going to be seeing someone who fails to fulfill their potential.
He ate too much.
My big takeaway from this year is that you just can't trust relievers who have two first names. Robby Scott. Joe Kelly.
So, for the Sox tonight it’s put the bottom feeding pitchers on the mound and see if any of them don’t suck?
Looks that way.
The Sox have 46 problems but the Mets ain't one
So we won´t see JoKe tonight.
I've already seen enough of Robbie Scott. Next pitcher please.
our LOOGY can't throw a strike to save his life.
This is a very boring game, with pitching that won't be on post-season roster. Feels like March or April.
Anyone up in the bullpen?
I think you're right. He is chubby.
Robbie Scott should be DFAd when he leaves the mound
Tough to sell yourself as a LOOGY when you can't get lefties out.
This bullpen is horrendous. Every single one of them.
Oops, too late. Tune back in for the 7th or 8th.
You're a worthless LOOGY if you give up a homer to Jay Bruce.
I don’tthink Robby will playing in the post season.
Jay Bruce has two first names and a 3-run dinger
I suppose we were due for an all out "punt" game. Let Pomeranz, Johnson and Kelly pitch in this one too. Nobody good tonight just to see how it ends up.
Can´t it be before?
I guess Cora needed another outing of Scott to evaluate him. i wouldn't have, but whatever.
