I was able to bite my tongue & avoid talking about how questionable I think it is to pitch Cobb in a game that matters. But his 2nd inning of work has been less successful.

Chase Shugart got a strikeout to end the 7th.

On to the 9th, Greenville up 3-2 in game 1 of the best of 3 series.

Shugart pitched a scoreless 8th. For some reason they brought out Chris Murphy for the 9th & he started off walk, 2-run homer to lose the shutout.

Kristian Campbell was 3-4 with a double, & had 50% of Greenville's hits.

Cutter Coffey was 0-4 with a strikeout, & had 0% of Greenville's hits.

Sorry, I'll keep it positive. I just don't really understand what the Greenville manager does a lot of the time.

Every starter except Campbell actually had a strikeout, 13 total.

Allan Castro was 1-4 with a homer.

Ronald Rosario was 1-3 with a walk.

Eddinson Paulino was 1-4 with a steal.

Impressive win on the road all things considered.

Niko was 2-4 with 2 homers (6).

Crook was 1-2 with a homer (10) & 2 walks.

Koss was 1-4 with a homer (1).

Hernandez was 2-4.

Sogard were 1-4 with a triple & a walk.

Blizzard was 1-4 with a walk.

Dalbec was 1-4 with a double.

Scott was 1-5 with a double.

Zimmer was 1-4.
