Who the fuck argues about needing a human factor in balls and strikes. That is moronic.

No excuse for missing the call. Plate is right in front of your fucking face with the catcher set up a mile outside.

Should be Swihart catching and Pearce at 1B or even Holt. It's not like Sandy is working some magic with the likes of Eovaldi and Pomeranz.

Things don't always play to type, but take a look at the White Sox bullpen stats if you want a pick me up.

It was a bad call but it was pretty close and Kinsler had plenty of pitches that he could have handled.

On the other hand it was actually well off the plate and he fought off a bunch of tough pitches.

I want a million runs next inning, Covey's got nothing and I've had enough of bad umpiring for the evening

There doesn't need to be anything after it was a bad call. It didn't have to be called with the technology today.

If you want to just fucking quit for the night, just call the game at a decent hour instead of shitty ball and strike calls for hours afterwards.

Bottom line is it was three shitty at bats with runners on. Weak by Swihart — moving the runners is shit down 3-0. Kinsler took a shitty 0-1 from a shitty pitcher and could have been out easily on the little flare. Sandy was Sandy.

Wrong on literally all counts. Even Sandy actually hit the ball well for once.

If balls are going to be strikes after a rain delay, how about also calling every base runner who reaches out, and every home run not one.

Covey wasn't going to get Kinsler out unless bullshit BABIP or umping happened. Sandy hit one 350 ft to the wrong spot.

One day, MLB's advertisers will figure out that turning on park sound to silence the announcers also silences the broadcast's commercials, but I'm glad it's not today.

Dylan Covey may be one of the best pitchers Boston has faced all season. I don't know if they will get more baserunners, let alone runs, tonight.

Swihart, Kinsler, Beni and JD all missed shitty pitches. JBJ and Sandy hit them but only to the track.

To be fair, about as far on the other side was a strike to Kinsler.

The gall of the umpire to even insinuate that the pitch to JD was very close when it was a ball’s width+ inside.
