Gregori Segovia surrendered an inherited runner on a hit and a wild pitch, but got the final two outs in the eighth.

Gabriel Perez and Gabriel Quintero each golfed a single in three quests. Kleiber Rodriguez ripped a single in four treks. Ronaldo Pulgar walked twice and stole a base in four plate appearances. Matt Gorst gave up two runs (one earned) on a hit and two hit by pitches over 2 2/3 frames; whiffing a trio. Austin Maddox was mauled for five runs on three hits and two walks in the five batters in his PawSox return. Travis Lakins allowed one hit and one hit by pitch over the final two innings; striking out one.

Brandon Phillips poked three singles and a double in five at-bats as he makes a bid for a September roster place (.328/.377/.496 in 31 games with Pawtucket).
