I get it, ok? I made a mistake... I'm sorry.
we haven't gained any ground on the Yanks since the sweep. shpould that be a warning sign?
ok, I'm done.
This gives me happy pants.
Not to mention they will be out-managed by a wide margin because their rookie skipper has no experience, no clue and no idea what it takes to win in this league.
I went to the game today, good game. Price looked good, some good hits but no dingers. Big Al hits dingers but this team didn't hit dingers today.
Anyway, good game. Nice day too.
At this rate, I don't they can even make the wild card game let alone win it.
You should. He stripped the farm system bare and all of his pre-trade deadline moves have backfired in his face. He clearly had no idea what the hell he is doing.
I'd prefer the MFY's be 37-90 instead of the Orioles.
Yeah but fuck Showalter all the same haha
Moreland has a bruised knee and is day to day.
There were people in this very game thread who were singing Showalter's praises as recently as last season. Clearly, they're idiots, but Showalter has always been a self-important fraud.
Didn’t he build the late 90’s MFY, D-backs 2001 champions? Maybe by now, his time has passed but I think 20 years ago he was good. That doesn’t mean he was, is and will always be a jerk.
How did he build them? He wasn't the GM. The GM's built good teams for him, and the teams succeeded after Showalter was replaced.
Don’t managers have any input on players who should come to a team? Don’t managers have any influence on how rookies develop at ML level? Don’t managers supervise exercises for body development? Do pitchers have good seasons out of nowhere? However, I don’t dispute he is unlikable and a jerk.
Showalter is still mulling when to Britton in. One thing is for sure - it won't be one minute before Buck is absolutely ready to use him. Buck Showalter doesn't have to justify anything to anyone.
But for some reason two different organizations dropped him just before winning the WS. That says something. (Not sure what, but I don't think it's a good thing).
And his input, influence, and supervision have directed his team to a historically horrible 37-90 record this year. Even Bobby Valentine won 69
The Rangers headed due north shortly after he left also.
Why? It’s the Orioles. I’d be much happier if that record belonged to the MFY.
