Felix allowed 4 runs in 1.1 innings, with the help of Railin Perez (who GameDay claimed was Jedixson Paez) who let 2 of his inherited runners score. Perez pitched a scoreless 9th.

I should write up the Salem game but been distracted with the Sox & family & now I'm sleepy & idk if anyone even reads this stuff, but YOLO. They lost 8-7.

Jhostynxon was 4-5 with a homer, a double, a walk & a steal.

Luis Ravelo was 2-5 with a homer.

YUTE was 2-5 with a triple.

Marvin Alcantara was 2-5 with a steal.

Speaking of double + flyout + groundout = run, Salem just did this to take a 2 run lead.

Jhostynxon had the lead off double & is 3-3 so far today. Seems to be doing much better since his brother joined the team. Will look into that in a minute.

It's been a bit more than a minute, but let's check it out...

Johanfran's 1st game in A-Ball was August 15th. After that initial shock, starting August 16th...

Jhostynxon has been 8-22 with 5 walks & 6 strikeouts.

Prior to that he was hitting .218 with a .653 OPS. Now he is hitting .233 with a .702 OPS. So basically some small sample size nonsense, with half those hits coming today.

This is the other one I said I'd look into...

He was doing just fine after the deadline & didn't start playing poorly until 8/15. Since then he has been 2-27 with 3 walks & 17 strikeouts.

During this 7-game stretch he's lowered his OPS from 1.011 to .960.
