Because I can't resist any opportunity to post this...

JA Happ against his very recently former team, TOR is starting rookie lefty Ryan Borucki who dominated NY in their previous meeting in early July, 7 innings/1 run.

    1 PM.

2-1, bases loaded, no out and we're having a good 1st inning, assuming no one winds up hospitalized....

Why does Shane Robinson continue to get at bats?

Wells actually looks better than one would expect, considering his lifestyle...

At least it’s as a fill-in now, Walker has been getting most of the starts but he is much better against righties.

Bird showing signs of life, would be great if he could hit the rest of the season.

We can get back in this if we get to play all our remaining games against the Jays 10-2

That’s like a one day injury. Plantar Fasciitis is the big one,

I've had Plantar Fascitis and you can't get that from being chop blocked...it's 99% of the time caused by repetitive strain not trauma.

In keeping with the theme of the weekend, the last time the first six batters of the game scored for NY was, yes, 1998.

Didn't hear definitively yet that Didi is going on the DL, but if he does, Tyler Wade is the obvious choice, but Gio Urshela is another possibility although he'd need a 40 man spot. Urshela would be a massive defensive upgrade late in games for Andujar and he is even starting to hit the past week or so in AAA. Or bring up both and end the Shane Robinson misery already.
