Snell still on a pitch count for this game, but he only needed 47 pitches to get thru a perfect 5 innings in his last appearance.

    Yanks counter with Tanaka.

    It will be very hot.

    1pm.

That was an interesting play by the TB runner.

    Rays knockin’ Tanaka around.

Pham is going to be a great pick-up.

Snell seems to hit all of his spots. It's a rare gift, and rarer still at 97 mph.

Not trying to be a jerk, but curious what Yankee fans think of their radio broadcast team? I am listening to the game this morning and having a real hard time with em. Boring and annoying...of course that may be because I am a Sox fan ;)

Norm, from a New York State Sox fan, don’t listen to Sterling and Waldman unless you absolutely have no other choice! Although, if you listen to goof on it, well, OK.

They're embarrassingly bad and the picture they paint has little to do with reality. My theory is that Sterling is only still employed to make Michael Kay on TV seem good by comparison, and I kind of like Kay now, so maybe it's working.

Slept through the first three innings of this, looks like so did NY.

Snell cruising but probably only gets one more inning.

Two pickoffs in two innings saves you some pitches.

He can't be the third baseman next year, sad to say.

Too little time, too many shitty teams left on their schedule, not enough shitty teams in the AL West and 10 H2H games between Oakland and Seattle for us to celebrate YED in September.

    It's a shame.

Measured by dWAR (BR version) Andujar is much worse (-1.5 compared to -0.8).

DRS too, Andujar is -17 and Devers is -11 in similar innings

How is Stanton's double still under review? Like clearly not out of the yard on initial glance. So then a meeting, then to replay? This is unnecessary.

Edit: Kay's clearly fed theory makes sense to determine if Stanton would be at 2nd or 3rd but man.

This is dreadful. If they had to show an example of what could be wrong with baseball, the last 7 or 8 minutes are it. Only fitting that it's followed up by a pitching change. 10+ minutes of stoppage for a blown call.

Cash out maneuvered himself with Romo getting two lefty hitters in ninth and Bird in the hole.

Cash bringing in a lefty for Bird. Bases loaded, no out. This is why baseball is great!

Double play groundout would work. Trade 1 run for 2 outs

    Now what for Stanton?

Edit, Didn’t look at the box score and thought Stanton was hitting after Gardner.
