Indians score two in the top of the eighth... and the DSL2 team was unable to get their ups in the bottom of the inning due to rain. Game suspended entering the bottom of the eighth, Sox down 5-4. Game will resume at a time to be determined... or perhaps canceled as the two teams are not scheduled to meet again this season and both teams are out of playoff contention.

Contrary to previously published statements above... the DSL decided that there was not going to be time to schedule a time for a suspended game between two teams that are out of playoff contention... and reverted the score back to the previous inning.
