Nice AB by Gardner.
Frazier has to tag Romine there
DeGrom with the John Lackey reaction
Given the season's he's having, I can't blame him.
The METS - LOL
Hicks has perfected the soft liner over the infield.
Too lazy to get a bowtie image, so just imagine it.
Not sure who is around for long relief in this game for the Yankees.
Remember when they were 11-1 in April?
Severino isn’t getting through 5
Luis is seriously broken and it's not one thing like tipping
Pedroia makes that play at Fenway
Exit velocity 89mph lol.
Johnny Pesky would be proud
Come out to the porch for an ice cream.
Nice to hear the Mets fans, this being their game 7 of the W.S.
7th straight start where Severino’s ERA has increased
Bird is back to efficiently useless at the plate
Gleyber hasn't been the same since coming back from his injury.
Haven't paid much attention to Olbermann since he left ESPN the first time, but I've never liked him.
Nice catch by deGrom!
glove to glove
I generally find Olbermann insufferable and unfunny, but I gotta admit that story about Knobloch air mailing the throw to first and hitting his mother in the crowd was hilarious.
Frickin Eddie Perez says “this is not an easy play.”
No shit Dick Tracy.
Severino is out already?
Report at the time:
after 4 he was at 97 pitches
He threw a trillion pitches and was struggling with pretty much everyone.
I've always liked him, except for his being a Yankees fan.
Remember on msnbc "the worst person in the world?" He was a little early on that one.
Oh geez, Yankees send a plane up with silver iodide crystals?
I like Olbermann, he's a smart dude. And Kurkjian is great, obviously. I'd rather have this announcing crew vs A-Rod and Jess Mendoza.
I am very liberal but have almost never watched MSNBC in my life. Like I said, his smarminess (a lot like Keith Law, maybe it's the name Keith?) always bugged me.
That bar is so low, it is actually on the ground.
How about a crew with Rick Sutcliffe on it? Below ground.
I just don't see how that was conclusive. But what else is new?
Well the actual bottom is in the Yankee radio booth, and, appropriately they are both embalmed and 6 ft under
Hate this 'coming off the base for an instant' on the stolen base call, especially when the tag kind of pushes the runner off.
That’s a ridiculous call reversal. Just making shit up at this point.
Wonder what angle they had to see something that didn’t clearly happen.
That is true, they are somehow in their own category.
the bar has to start somewhere
Haha! That is the most entertainment I've gotten from this game so far, thanks.
ESPN is the only outlet doing this game right? So they couldn't have had an angle we didn't. Unless there are other cameras that exist for the purpose of replay?
"It's Rah-ger Clemens, and he's in George's bawwwwxx!!! -- Suzyn Waldman.
And Sterling always talks over Suzyn too, which is just funny.
old man don't quit
It's not even that, they just make shit up. Not that I recommend anyone doing this, but sometimes I take a shower during a game and I listen to an inning or two on the radio, then I go back and watch it on TV, and it's amazing how skewed a view of reality they convey to people.
I wonder if Gardner is on other teams’ lead pipe list or if that’s a Red Sox exclusive.
