9sb in his last 15 games, 6 in his last 9. 10sb 0cs for the year.

He's cut back on the ks too but still needs to improve.

Johnson got charged with 2, but his defense didn't help him.

@PawSox: A second straight popup gets lost in the sun and the Chiefs have runners at the corners in the 2nd

@PawSox: Immediately after the popup is dropped, Dan Butler rips a 2-run double. 2-0 Chiefs heading to the third

Caught the Spinners game tonight. They played flat for most of the game, and Benintendi did little on offense, so it didn't turn out to be all that great a take. Henry Ramos, who I'm anxious to see play healthy this year, stood out with a couple of hard hit balls and a great catch in right - he looks ready to move back up to Portland. It was cool to see 3 good prospects in Ramos, Benintendi, and Rei hitting back to back in that order. Rei showed off a strong arm, and Benintendi looked smooth in CF. Amazing that Daniel Gonzalez struck out 7 in 4 innings as he topped out at 84 mph, but I guess that just shows how effective junk pitchers can be at the low levels

The box score says that there were 3 SB against Rei.  I'm curious if they were just good jumps off the pitcher or if the throws were off target (or something else).  I know Rei comes in with the rep as having an outstanding arm, so I was curious when i saw the 3 SB with no caught stealings.

One was in the dirt that bounced and Rei still almost nailed him at second - a very impressive throw and play.  A second steal was off the pitcher as Rei didn't even attempt a throw.  I forgot the third.  On the other side, he threw out a runner at third on a throw in the dirt that the 3rd baseman had to dig out.  All in all, Rei moves well and I'm excited to watch him moving forward.  It seems like we've had a lot of shortish catchers in the system in recent years, so it's good to see a talented big guy back there for a catching prospect
