Portland lost 11-4. Clearly they are no good without Nick Yorke, glue guy.

Chase Meidroth was 1-3 with a walk, a double & 2 runs.

Tyler Dearden was 1-2 with a walk.

& in Rosier/Sikes/McDonough battle news... they all kinda sucked after that initial Rosier run.

Rosier 0-4 with a walk, 2 steals, a run & a strikeout.

Sikes 0-4 with 3 strikeouts.

McDonough 1-4 with a strikeout.

They wisely went back on list & Railin Perez (#149) pitched a scoreless 7th & 8th.
Salem wisely stayed on list for the 9th, going to closer Jonathan Brand (#61) who pitched a 1-2-3 inning including 2 strikeouts for his 7th save of the season & lowering his ERA to 1.17.

They won 4-3.

Jhostynxon ended up 3-4 with a homer & a double.

JOHNFRANK was 1-2 with a walk.

ROMERO was 1-3 with a triple & sac fly.

This is kind of draining when the teams play like this...or it could be the not being better yet thing lol

Ryan Fernandez getting lit up in the 9th, blowing the 5-4 lead.

They lost 6-5. Good pitching by Lamet & Shugart (2 scoreless), terrible pitching by Nail (3 runs in 1 inning) & Fernandez (2 runs in 1 inning).

Reese was 2-4 with a double.

Story was 0-3 with 2 strikeouts & a walk.

David Hamilton was 1-3 with 2 walks, a double & 2 steals (36).

C Note was 1-4 with a steal & that crazy run, but 2 strikeouts.

Nick Sogard was 2-4 with a double.

Some of the golden boy pitching prospects getting roughed up of late, Bastardo yesterday, Dobbins and Perales today. All had been on quite a roll coming into the week.
Yeah, Monegro & Liu were pretty bad last time out, too, & Wuilliams, JDE. It's been a bit rough seeing everyone crash down to earth but it's all part of the process.
