Steven Wright is still the scheduled starter for the Pawsox, but is likely to by in Anaheim. It would not surprise me if Cuevas gets the bump up to Pawtucket to replace Wright.

And therein lies the problem. He thinks he's a power guy.

I feel this sort of criticism highlights the divide the fanbase feels about JBJ. Some people feel he's already had his shot and is a AAAA guy destined to never hit MLB pitching, and some feel he's a GG everyday CFer who hasn't been given an appropriate opportunity to showcase his true abilities.

I'm in neither of those categories. I think his AAA swing (where he actually hits for power) is too long for the majors, but I think if he'll take a better approach at the plate, shorten up & focus on getting on base he can be a career guy.

If he's dead set on proving he's a power guy in the bigs, he'll continue to struggle with his opportunities. Just my opinion.

I think JBJ could be a good major leaguer, but worry that a lot if it is in his head right now- and he thinks too much when he gets called up. Needs to slow the game down and get off to a good start his next call up. Which should be now. It's time to trade de Aza and Victorino and give Bradley playing time to find out if he has a future here.
indeed it is.  but I don't think Shane brings anything back.  De Aza likely doesn't net much either.  in any event/regardless, JBJ should get another chance now

The Nats desperately need an outfielder right now. Victorino would be a perfect fit to platoon with Clint Robinson in LF and fill in elsewhere. The Nats have good hard throwing MiLB relief prospects. Maybe snag one.

12/8 BB/K with 21 total bases on Benintendi's10 hits.  Another 50-60 ABs like this and there's zero reason Benintendi should remain in Lowell.  Not like there's a huge logjam at Greenville's OF either.

Good news on Stankiewicz, he was hit on the shoulder and he appears to be fine.
