Some MLB team is going to be very happy with JBJ for a handful of years or more.

I hope it's Boston.

FREE JACKIE!  Seriously, free Jackie.  His ISO is now up to .150, which is the most encouraging thing in my book.  He's not just collecting hits, he is driving the ball into the gaps.  In the doubles-friendly Fenway Park, I hope he gets a chance to prove himself again.  Showing no signs of slowing down - another 2-3 weeks of this and how can you not bring him up?  At the very least he can split time with Betts and replace Hanley in the late innings.

I don't think JBJ has a future in Boston.

Best case scenario is that he recovers his value enough to get some kind of non roster-filler return.

Yup, 2 to 3 more weeks of this and maybe he's closer to the centerpiece of a deal for Cueto.

Though it's also at the point where if Betts went down with an injury for a month I'd be willing to let JBJ take those at bats and see if the third time was a charm.

To temper expectations, his ZiPS projection still shows him as just a .283 wOBA hitter in the majors, so I can see why management may be skeptical.
