Reading the SeaDogs box scores is so depressing right now.  The only two people resembling a prospect, Witte and Asuaje, have been in free fall, and the rest of the team is roster filler.  What happened to the best farm system in the game?

Speaking of which, I can't wait for Lowell to start up its season, so some of the playing time IF logjam on the Drive can hopefully get cleared out.

There's a fair bit of talent sitting in Salem as well. Margot, Travis, Ball, Stankiewicz, Rijo, Buttrey, and Jerez all look very interesting to me.

Speaking of Portland, what's the story with the Marco Hernandez kid (SS)?

22 year old who is putting up a 473 slugging, OPS of 818 in a league that usually eats up hitters. Granted is BB/K stands at 7/29, not that great.

Last 10 games though he's hitting .381 with a HR.

Any word on if he's OK in the field?

Agree about everyone except Stankiewicz being intriguing, but Rijo, Buttrey or Jerez are stretching the definition of prospects currently.
