They peaked too early but much worse than that, got too hurt in too many places at the absolute worst time. Pretty much all of the guys who were hurt late have not come all the way back. And unfortunately theydid not get the benefit of that late season push when they turtled on the last day of the season.

Oh, I'm not blaming him. That falls on Chara, but I think Rask read it perfectly, was in position, and just left an opening. I think he'd tell you he normally makes that one.

The first one though, I blame him for that moreso than the defense.

They look like a team that had a tough first round series go the distance while the other team didn’t break a sweat in their series.

Whoever was in front of the net for Tampa on that second goal basically blocked/picked the Bruins D to set that shot up.

Score here and Tampa starts to remember that they couldn’t do shit against this team most of the year. Let’s go

They look like a team about to score a PP goal. . . .

I think the Carlo injury is literally the difference right now. He was starting to play so well too. Can't fucking believe the guy got hurt a second year in a row right before the playoffs.

Pretty cool how hurt Johnson was right up until he realized he wasn’t going to get a whistle and then he was magically all better

Should replace Krug on PP1 with Donato. If he’s not going to threaten a shot from those positions what’s the point.

Johnson trying to sell a call
He's trying to sell that, meanwhile, the Bruin standing in front of the net at the 1:00 minute mark of the power play had his stick slashed right out of his hands. He put both hands up as he went to retrieve it, no call. Just as the B's were putting shots on net, and then Tampa cleared it.

This season was much more than we ever expected from the bruins. At least what I expected of them. I thought they were a few years away from competing but they gave us a great season. They just cant match Tampa’s depth, especially their defensive depth. Bruins need to find another top d man this offseason if they can.
