Greenville's rotation has been surprisingly good given their record. Their bullpen on the other hand...

Denyi Reyes is working on his 4th solid season in a row. He's improved his strike out rate this year and never walks anyone. Kutter Crawford is striking a lot of guys out and has an era under 2. Jhonathan Diaz continues to be Jhonathan Diaz.

Denyi Reyes looks pretty interesting but I always like guys with low walk rates. He's not even on the soxprospects top 60 though.

For Reyes career: 222.1ip, 20bb. His BB% rate is 2.26% for his career.

Drive survive another pen disaster, 4-3.

Boxscore

Kutter Crawford went six shutout innings, giving up three singles, a double, and a walk; whiffing nine while uncorking a pair of wild pitches. 61 of his 83 pitches were for strikes. Taylor Ahearn's 2018 debut was less than memorable, giving up three hits to the first four batters he faced, two of which went out of the yard (Ramon Marcelino and Matt McLaughlin) to tie the game up at 3. Ahearn would get five of the next six batters he faced, giving up a second single and a wild pitch while striking out one. Lukas Young yielded a meaningless single to pick up the save in the ninth.

Frankie Rios and Marino Campana each contributed three hits in five forays; Rios with a double and a caught stealing, Campana with a double and the game winning solo moonshot in the eighth. Kervin Suarez struck two singles and stole a bag in four sessions. Everlouis Lozada laced a single and drew a walk in four excursions. Jagger Rusconi ripped a single and took a base on balls in five jaunts. Zach Sterry, Ricardo Cubillan, and Charlie Madden each managed a single in four matchups. Victor Acosta was unable to reach in five ventures.
