Javier Guerra is having himself a year. .300/.360/.522. Looking like he may not be an all glove SS.

After going 0 for 14 in his first four games back, Castillo is 8 for his last 25, including 2 for 5 with a double tonight.   It's time.

Dan McGrath has been filthy unhittable this year. Too many walks but aside from that, very impressive for a 20 year old in high A. I get the impression that he's not considered much of a prospect and this might just be soft stuff that plays up well in the minors but still, 10 hits in 30 IP!?

Williams Jerez's reinvention as a pitcher is going surprisingly well.  He's a soon-to-be 23-year-old in Greenville, so of course he's a massive longshot to ever make the show.  But he's a whole lot better than he was as a hitter (not saying much, but still).  One wonders what might have been if he had just pitched from the start.
