No more losing. One win at a time, starting tonight.
How about some Jo Jo mojo...
Platitude about how being on the road could help the team come together
Platitude about how Isaiah getting the chance to go home will have him ready to go
Platitude about how all they need is that first win
Declaration that said first win will occur tonight
Closing line accompanied by exclamatory vulgarity to provoke feelings of vigorous excitement and the implication of being fed up with the current status quo, rhetorically fashioned in such a way as to insinuate that anyone who feels differently will be viewed henceforth through scorn-colored glasses.
This team has been infuriating at times, but mostly really fun to watch this year. The run isn't ready to stop and it's time to get back to fun basketball. Horford will show up bigly. IT and Marcus will make up and combine to flip off Chicago as best buds. Hell, Marcus might even hit a shot. Jae will antagonize the fuck out of the bulls and return to form. Win.
Edit: basically what Jed said!
They are a much better team than what they have shown last two games. There still is a chance to turn this series around. It starts tonight.
Perfect night for a sports bar: Celtics, Bruins and Sox is nearly sports overload.
Rondo broken thumb out indefinitely
Whoa. That's out of nowhere
Was it Wade? I bet it was Wade.
If Butler did it, then I want him more than ever.
He's been right up there with Lopez (and "Can't Miss" Portis) as their best player in this series, and he's been disruptive as shit on defense. Time for the back court to step up.
Confidence level is rising!!
How does this effect on-court strategy for both teams?
CHI: tighten sphincter
BOS: possibly nothing
Rondo was incredibly disruptive, hopefully it frees up the perimeter and lessens the pressure to rebound. Lopez obviously is the main culprit, but rondo was averaging 8.5 a game this series.
I hope everyone in here can account for their whereabouts for the last couple of days.
I was at game 2, where the damage was done. That's all I've got to say on the matter.
This is good boarding.
I will miss Rondo and hate that he got hurt. Celtics should win or lose against a healthy Rondo. It was a great story.
I love Rondo and hope he is OK but I will NOT miss him this postseason.
Yep---this postseason showed why he's so maddening. All that talent.
Loved Rajon when he was our asshole, loathed him in this series, but big props for his game. Bulls now have a big hole to fill, IT doesn't have a much to worry about with him out .... win/win/win!
What about (some guy named) Zipser?
His TS% is a paltry .75% in this series so far, Portis is sitting at a cool 1.00. Regression - Rondo = a W tonight.
I fucking love regression to the mean. Let it be so for Steph Lopez as well.
Relevant to Celtics and live right now: Euroleague playoffs: Real Madrid (Donacic) vs .Darrussafaka Dogus (Zizic)
You can't stop Brad Wanamaker, you can only hope to contain him!
Why is Doncic crying in a four point game with 7 minutes to play? My spanish is no bueno.
Sorry to hear about Rondo, but, alive.
I didn't catch what that was all about. He looks YOUNG out there.
Gerald Green in the starting lineup instead of Amir.

.@celtics will start Thomas, Bradley, Crowder, Horford and Gerald Green tonight vs #Bulls.
Small as fuck. Wow.
Rebounding may still be an issue
Amir was a statue and didn't play at all in the 2nd half on Tuesday. He's useless at this point so are you going to plug in Olynyk? No because you lose the offensive spark off the bench he's provided. Zeller? No. They need some outside shooting and Green could give this.
GERALD?! Brad has lost his mind.

Brad Stevens on why Gerald Green: "Shooting and length and athleticism."
It's okay in the sense that he just has to track Mirotic around the perimeter on D, but overall I feel this is a terrible, terrible decision. They need to play better offense to win this series, not pass to Gerald and pray his shots go in. And despite what I said about tracking Mirotic, he's an awful defensive player. Scary stuff.
Exactly what I'm worried about.
How much has GG been on the court with IT?
I guess we're still rolling with the chuck up 3's & pray thing? Okay, then. It could work...
I don't get why it isnt the Swedish Larry Bird over GG but Brad knows his team better than I do
Length and athleticism that are only ever used for dunking.
This is silly. He's a bad player.
I know he has been shaky, but if we are dusting off Gerald Green - I would rather they start Jaylen Brown. At this point I would prefer he get more playoff reps, as that is more important than trying to win this series.
I can't imagine he has much rope here.
Olynyk will come in for him in his regular rotation.
Something must be going on there, JJ should be getting minutes this series with nothing too worrisome on the matchup front.

Gerald Green scored 21 points the last time he started for the Celtics … on April 13, 2007.
Jaylen Brown would have been in the 4th grade.
Schefter being on the sidelines here is freaking me out.
