Mike Gorman picked the wrong fucking week to go fishing.
Take the W from this game and nothing more. And people can say what they want about Smart's game but he has always been resilient.
here come the Lakers
I hope it was Gorman’s decision to schedule vacation during the best road trip of the season.
Holy shit, Harrison Barnes had 24 points?
Chicago beat Philly. Make it a quad.
I love what I've seen from the ball movement, energy, and just overall fluidity of rotations on this road trip so far. It's just something I wasn't seeing as recently as the Houston game. It fits the week, laissez les bon temps rouler.
This was definitely one of the best games I’ve seen Horford play as a Celtic.
Bad officiating kept the Kings in the game but it wasn't bad enough. No way Hield was fouled on that three point attempt-- and that was just one bad call.
Pacers got a rough schedule coming up. 3 seed is still in play.
Seriously, what the hell was Smart doing on that play where he nearly turned it over?
Do you guys ever just enjoy a hard earned victory? And have you never seen Marcus Smart play basketball for the Boston Celtics?
He was two of six from the field and had three boards, five assists, five steals and three turnovers. That doesn't count deflections, good passes, crazy passes, flops and dives. But what it does show is that he is the definition of chaos.
The Celtics owe them a severe beating.
Impressive win tonight.
Even though he wasn't scoring like the night before, he didn't look slow tonight. Still seemed to be moving pretty nicely.
More replies in this thread than the Warriors one.
Yesterday was Smart's birthday. He's more than a year younger than Buddy Hield.
That was a great win, made better coming off the Warriors win w/o Kyrie. I think the biggest difference last night was Tatum taking ownership of the offense. 6-6 from the free throw line too - keep on wearing that headband.
Another takeaway which I keep harping on: Really need to flip Morris and Brown's minutes. Morris ended up hitting a few shots down the stretch, but for the most part I thought he was hurting them again.
I enjoyed the hell out of it. And I love Smart. He’s probably my second favorite player on the team. But sometimes I can’t even begin to understand what goes through his mind. Which is odd, because I think he has an extremely high basketball IQ. I think he thought there was less time left and was trying to avoid being fouled?
where the hell is the Beat LA thread? I want LeBron DEAD! I want Lonzo Ball DEAD! I want his family DEAD! I want the Staples Center BURNED TO THE GROUND! I want Rajon Rondo sitting in the $10 seats! I want to see Kevin Durant say "damn, I thought WE got beat down"! I want to see TimeLord SHATTER THE BACKBOARD.
You tell 'em Marcus Smart is coming, and hell's coming with him, y'hear? HELL'S COMING WITH HIM.
Did you just mash Deniro and Kurt Russell??
Yeah that was solid work. Also:
You'll get the damn thread on game day chump.
