So PSK, have the Caps fans completely capitulated, or did they not even buy tickets for the game to spare the embarrassment?

I'll hang up and listen to your answer.
Terrible way to end the period - anyhow, a bunch left after third goal.

Jesus Chad is slow side to side. Also, it seems like the only goals scored against the Bruins lately have been own goals.

Man I fucking hate when an announcer sees a perfectly clean bodycheck and makes a point of saying "right in front of the ref no call!!!" Caps guy just did it when Boychuk just decked someone. Fuck you.

Ovechkin looks like such a goddamn fool with these sell-jobs. Sincerely hope he continues to win only meaningless hardware.

Another road team announcer pet peeve: guy takes a run at Chara and bounces off harmlessly, announcer subsequently goes nuts over the bonecrunching and devastating hit.

The Washington defender tried to cover the puck in the crease, but failed.

It's funny, I was sitting here thinking Ovechkin actually showed a little restraint on that hit compared to his normal stuff and they went ahead and called it. Go figure.

I really want Bergeron to get to 30...

These announcers are absolutely insufferable. Whining about the Chimera call gives way to whining about the Ovechkin call, uninterrupted by any note made of the tackle of Krug in the corner. Sales, sales, sales.

Caps announcers pining for a coach's challenge for penalties. Does that also mean they can challenge when Ovechkin does a high jump when a stick touches leg?

I knew Soderberg had talent based on the scouting reports and everything but I don't think I ever imagined how much of a "Bruins style" game he would play. I'd love to know how many goals the Bruins have scored this season that were a direct or indirect result of Carl planting himself in front of the goalie. Doesn't always get credit with a goal or assist but he has been incredible as a net front presence, along with all the other great things he has done this season.

Yep.  Anyone who ever complains about Jack and Brick for any reason should be forced to listen to Beninati and Laughlin for a game or two. They are the worst.

"The crowd was 'roaring' before the call on Ovechkin."

I'm fond of their narrative of the first goal of the game. They've spent all day calling Krejci's clear along the boards to Soderberg a "lucky bounce," "broken play" and so on. How about your guy seal the boards better?

Soderberg has been a ridiculously good fit, I wonder what his numbers would look like if he had started the season at C. Have to imagine they look to extend him this offseason, he's just too perfect on that third line to risk letting him get to UFA.

Laughlin might just be the worst ever—had to shut the sound off. I discovered too late that the NESN feed was on CenterIce too. Argh.

The ESPN2 feed finally switches from tennis to hockey and it's already 1-0 Union. Today is a good day.

I'm totally supposed to run some errands today but I'm just not finding the time with this schedule.
