Every game needs a game thread, even if it's an exhibition game not on TV:

    Hernandez 2B
    Sandoval 3B
    Betts RF
    Ramirez DH
    Bradley Jr. CF
    Craig 1B
    Brentz LF
    Leon C
    Marrero SS

    Kendrick P

Marco Hernandez doubled to lead off the game and Hanley singled him home, Red Sox lead 1-0

Orioles outfield appear to be getting their running in today.

in play run(s): Marrero grounds into a double play which scores a run. Red Sox lead 6-1.

Kendrick impressive through 4 vs. a mostly minor league team. Only run allowed a solo shot by Alvarez.

Make that two doubles for Pablo Sandoval! The first one drove in two runs.

A messy 5th for Kendrick, but only one run allowed on 3 hits. 7-2 Sox, middle of the 5th.

Red Sox win 7-4. Noe allowed two walks and a single but his ERA improved because the run he allowed was charged to Hembree. And he did strike out the side that inning.
