Up 12 points, with 10 more regulation wins, +61 GD and 2 games in hand. Yup, you got it fatso, must-win for the Little Bruins of the Poor against the Bogeyman Canadiens. I hate to break it to these guys but the Bruins are cruising to the playoffs and a top 1-2 seed. I wish they were shitty too so I could also be a whiny bitch but...oh wait, no, that's fucking stupid.

Yeah, there is no way this is a "must win" for the Bruins, but I was thinking to myself this morning about how far a win tonight would go toward putting a stake in Montreal's division hopes. Not that it will likely matter in the grand scheme of things, but up 14 points with Montreal having only 15 games left feels like a lock, while up 10 in the same scenario still leave an ever so slight window of opportunity.
That said, I want to win every single time we play these fuckwits, and will likely be screaming at the TV the entire night.

It's kind of important for the Bs themselves to prove they can beat these overrated fuckers. You look at the advanced stats and it's crazy to think how such a poor puck possession team can win so many games.

The rest of the season is really going to be defined by the Bruins' pace against PIT(3 up) for the ECF home ice, and against StL(6 up) and Ana(4 up) for home ice in the SCF. The B's magic numbers in the division are 20vs MON, and 19 vs TOR/TB, and the B's have 18 games left to play. Its going to take an epic collapse to lose it, and I haven't seen any signs of that with this team.
edit: forgot to point out that the B's have 1 game in hand on PIT/ANA/StL
