bazaar, no one knows who they are guarding...
Theis picking up Lou Williams as he brings the ball up the court is not working guys.
Imagine LouWill coming off the Celtics bench instead of Terry Rozier.
Time for TimeLord
Baynes has been hilariously bad.
One silver lining: At least we have to watch Morris playing for the Celtics for only about 20 to 25 more games.
Clippers did everything they wanted to do this game. Gallo got it going early. Lou Williams exploded off the bench. Harrell hit the glass and put up 15 points off the pine on only eight shots. Shamet and Beverely went for 22 points combined, going 8--13 and 5-8 from three, with 11 assists between them.
It’s really strange that Jerry West is so good as a front office consultant
Morris just stands and watches as Baynes challenges a driver, and Harrell is allowed to waltz in for an easy rebound. I'm not going to miss that guy.
Knew this would be one of the toughest games on the road trip, but damn...
Anyone clamoring for TimeLord should just look at this garbage time performance. He just doesn't know where he needs to be to defend the Clippers G-League bench players. It will happen in due time of course but the kid isn't ready yet.
He's looked awful since returning, probably still injured.
He's getting pushed around down low, not active on the offensive glass. Not the guy we saw pre-injury
He's going to be a good golfer in a couple years, too, with his new soon-to-be daughter-in-law joining the fam.
Guy killed life so hard his offspring get to marry star athletes
Was at the game tonight....nothing in the world can convince me Morris and Baynes were sober on the floor. Putrid and confusing play from both of them.
Brad didn’t want to bring Baynes in the second half at all but unfortunately Theis on Lou Williams was just an automatic 3 point play.
And Scott Foster..... wow. What more does this guy have to do to get canned? Inaccurate, hostile, thin-skinned, I could go on and on. He’s so so so brutal out there.
Looks like I made the right call.
Meh...we all would have signed up for a 3-1 road trip before it started. Seems like it was just a dud at the end of a long west coast swing. At least we weren't blown out by Cleveland like the Raptors.
It was a weird game last night. Morris aside, I thought the offense was actually pretty good last night while missing a key cog. They were moving the ball for the most part and were running some effective sets to get guys the ball in space, especially Rozier. But the defensive cohesion and energy was obviously lacking, and nothing good ever comes from these games where Al just doesn't rebound.
Not quite but they were pretty close and shot 60% for the second half. Clippers shot a lofty 62% for the game and out rebounded the Celtics 52-38. Celtics were thoroughly outplayed based on the box score but otherwise a successful CA road swing for Boston.
