Heinen looked like he hit a wall last game. Probably a good idea to find times to spell both him and DeBrusk.
Not just last game, been going on a couple weeks now where he seems to be grinding. He’s only got a point in his last 9 games (granted had 5 in the 3 games prior) but I’ve noticed he doesn’t seem to have the same burst that was allowing him to play so well before. Not entirely unexpected since given he’s a rookie playing an extended stretch against NHL talent for the first time.
Hope the rotation continues with the rest of the lineup this month. Keep the regulars rested and extra guys sharp for the playoffs
Maybe Gionta can keep up his olympic run of missing an open net each game... I keeed I keeeed.
Still, he looked far behind Donato in the Olympics, so I will just say my expectations are tepid for Mr. Gionta.
On Tuesday the Bruins won, and Charlie McAvoy crashed SOSH.

I love getting PP opportunities against this team that relies so heavily on their own. Beating them at their own game. Malkin whining even though he was guilty of about three infractions, Dumoulin whining on a clear high stick....
