Im not. 12 picks is a TON. At some point you need to cash in.
Why? The strategy of having a lot of picks to take shots and/or trade for established players has worked very very well for the Patriots, why would they "NEED" to "cash in"?

And then 2021. And then 2022. At some point you need to actually draft players. Especially in a year you didnt have the cap room to actually sign any FA. This is that year IMO
Nah you can always pick up UDFA's

They already have more picks than anyone, and also had no $ to improve the team in FA. Feel they need to improve the roster.

Only ones I'd really want now if we stay pat are Greedy or Metcalf. Maybe Smith or Baker.

Murphy doesn't scream Patriot Way with that shirt off pose

I am now fully embracing the “whoever BB picks or doesn’t, I’ll be happy” mode. Although one of the boom or bust WRs would get me especially psyched. Or Greedy. Ok, I’m done.

We're getting a LB from like Valdosta St. and I will totally talk myself into him.

They're the defending champs, replaced the loss of a top D-lineman by trading for a similarly productive player, added Thomas cheap, and honestly there probably isn't a player left on the board who could be an impact player as a rookie given the quality and depth of the roster.

I like that BB is not panicking - not that he ever would - but is sitting back rather than trading a bunch of picks to move up. Let's see what falls to us at 32 while keeping all the picks

Eh we can agree to disagree there. Really depends on the position. I think Irv Smith will absolutely be a signifcant contributor in 2019
Tom Curran on the radio today was clear that talent evaluators he'd checked in with all said Smith was not worth a 1st-round pick.
