They're interviewing the other players and just asking them how they feel about Tiger and his win. If I was on the Yankees and they asked me how I felt about Alex Cora right after he just beat me, I'd be pretty annoyed.

Every guy in that field should be stroking a check to Tiger for 20% of every dollar they make, right after they swirl his balls around in their mouth.

Yeah, thought Koepka handled that with class.

No. Considering all the money Tiger has made those guys, I'm sure they can spare a few words.

I am assuming there are a lot of folks in this thread too young to see tiger come of age because I am mind boggled at the lack of appreciation for his place in making the game what it is today.

I guarantee you every player in the field today just realized how much more money they have made and that they will make going forward because of this guy.

How many sports have a favorite that fans root for. And one that fd up bad in his personal life.

For me, this is as good as '01 Pats and '04 Sox. I haven't been this happy in a long, long time.
Agree.

I started watching golf in 95 and vaguely remember Crenshaw winning and then my first full Masters was 96 getting absolutely heartbroken by Norman. Shortly after I remember watching Tiger's press conference to go pro and I've seen almost every televised shot of his career since.

I started to well up and then my 3 year old asked "where's Tiger's Daddy?" after seeing him hug his family and I lost it. I remember riding that emotional roller coaster with Tiger and his dad. On the 18th green at Augusta in 97 all the way to his Open win after his dad died.

Fucking awesome.

And all the personal f ups he went through are worth it because he has kids to share this moment with.

I’ve often thought that the most inaccurate quote ever is Thomas Wolfe’s “there are no second acts in America.”

I hate how this ceremony feels like a fucking funeral every year.

They need to do it outside like they used to and get the crowd involved.
There are two ceremonies. They do this for tv. the other one is outside with all the other winners in the background. They canceled that this year for the weather
