QBs keep playing longer and longer (Brady, Brees, Rivers) and somehow Derek Carr is 100% washed at age 27. He's a marvel

The Raiders should run wildcat every play, I mean it can't be much worse than Derek Carr only throwing routes under 5 yards.

The raiders are going to play a home game in front of 10 fans by the end of the season

That was one of the worst throws I’ve ever seen but damn if everything isn’t going south for the Raiders.

Derek Carr is the worst kind of QB to have if you want to win.
To be a successful NFL team you need a QB who is either very good, or cheap, preferably you get some years where your QB is both.
Carr is bad and expensive

The raiders really suck but the niners are doing everything right. Mullens is looking good. He's looking dbs off and taking what the raiders are giving, which is a lot.

Someone tell Joe Buck that completion% means shit. Carr is currently 2 in the league. As of week 8, 5 of the top 9 completion % in nfl history are of this year

Guaranteed 100 million. Mmmmm let that sink in. I’m not ready to put dirt on this grave yet but what an awful start. Do you trust this guy with a rebuild? I sure don’t.

Fitzpatrick throws a big interception. They should just use Winston as the "opener" and play Fitz once they are down some points.

I'm starting to think that Gase in Miami is a bad coach. His obsession with Frank Gore when he has a superior back in Drake is baffling.

I'm pulling for the Steelers here. Ravens lose today and they are probably a 8-9 win team and miss the playoffs. If they win, it's 9-10 wins with a sweep of the Steelers, giving them a good shot at the playoffs. I hate the Ravens.

When it comes to officiating, the Browns are the Celtics of the NFL. No team gets less calls than they do. They just had a clear DPI in the end zone on a long throw by Baker, and two refs completely missed it. Next play, receiver gets spun around and dropped as the ball was getting there. No call. As if literally everything else wasn't enough, I would be losing my mind if I was a Browns fan.

When Pittsburgh comes up on the Red Zone I always catch the yellow down and distance our ofnrhe corner of my eye and think that there’s a flag

Dolphins/Jets 0-0 barely over a hundred yards combined, more punts than first downs, crapfest...is the least surprising thing of the day.
